Monkido Aerial Adventure Courses

Our Monkido tree courses are elevated obstacle courses set in a beautiful forest and securely suspended in the trees at 10 to 50 feet off the ground! Elements include zip lines, bridges, scramble nets and swinging logs.

Canyon Zip

The Canyon Zip starts in our forested park, and the first leg sends you flying across our spectacular river canyon. The next flight glides almost the entire length of the canyon, passing beneath our world-famous bungy bridge.

Bungy

Jump off our 150′ high bridge head first, with a big elastic band around your ankles! Our “first on the continent” bungy jump over the Nanaimo River is ranked as one of the top 100 things to do in Canada by a 2006 National Post survey. It’s not for everyone, but over 190,000 people have felt the rush and earned their bragging rights!

King Swing

Strapped into an “ultra cool” paragliding harness, designed for the intense forces that this incredible ride generates, our bridge crew will clip you securely into a cable that extends up and above the sandstone canyon cliffs. The cables tighten as you are cinched up like a slingshot, pulling you ever closer to the 150 foot abyss.

You launch in seconds and drop like a meteor entering the atmosphere! Start your scream with a near free-fall towards the river. The thrilling speed of up to 140 km/hr and “feel it to your core” g-force, stick with you as you scream past the canyon walls on the rocket ride of a lifetime!
