Backpacking on the West Coast Trail

It is open from May 1 until September 30. The trail is part of the Pacific Rim National Park. The trail has been rated the best hike in the world by BestHike.com since 1999. Tofino Air offers Bamfield service to get you to the trailhead or pick you up after your hike with ease and convenience.

Sunshine Coast Trail

The newly developed Sunshine Coast Trail opens July 2010 and features 37 km of nature stretching from Earl’s Cove to Halfmoon Bay.   The trail is about six or seven feet wide on good, stable, flat soils with gentle inclines, offering a beautiful forest environment and incredible views into wetlands, mountains, ocean, creek – coming very close to many of the communities of the Sunshine Coast (and their bed & breakfasts if you’re not a camper)!
